Deputy Head of Development
These are exciting times for the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the UK’s leading group of independent girls’ schools. Change is in the air – in January 2018 the GDST re-launched and re-branded, positioning itself as a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation which is shaping the future of girls’ education. We aim to raise our profile and be an instantly recognisable beacon in the sphere of education.
Our roots are very much in our charitable status, and we reinvest all our income back into our schools. Fundraising and development therefore play a critical role going forward.
This is a great time to join the GDST. We are looking for an outstanding and energetic Deputy Head of Development to lead the planning and implementation strategies that will create a step-change in our fundraising activities. You will bring a proven track record in leading high-level giving programmes, from individuals and corporates and of personally securing major gifts. You will possess deep insights into marketing strategies including brand building and digital marketing and will provide a turbo-boost to our fundraising programme.
With outstanding interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, you will be a strong relationship builder able to engage both internally and externally with our key stakeholders and be an exemplary ambassador for the organisation.
This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of many gifted girls.
The closing date for applications is Noon, Monday 9th April 2018.
