They have big aspirations – and in recent years have achieved big things with their award-winning campaigns - and they need to retain the talented people they already have and attract brilliant new people to help them achieve their ambitious goals.

Achieving a high level of engagement with their people is key to achieving their ambitious goals and delivering their key change programmes together. Communication is a big part of that but there are many other elements to successful engagement too.

The Head of Internal Communications and Engagement will have a proactive approach in providing strategic direction to leaders, drive change, and will be able to influence senior stakeholders.  A key part of that is to continually improve engagement and communications approach, including the use of new technologies and innovations. This role will also develop and deliver the annual engagement and communications plan.

The role will be responsible for one direct report and the internal communication resources such as the intranet site and internal communication publications and channels, as well as the staff survey.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and strong influencer, who is able to see the big picture, and is also a digitally savvy employee engagement and communications person with initiative and vision.
