For over 50 years our research has saved lives. We’ve broken new ground, revolutionised treatments and transformed care. But heart and circulatory disease still kills one in four people in the UK. That’s why we need you.

Due to the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) coming into force in May 2018, the British Heart Foundation has established a GDPR Programme to ensure that we are compliant.

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Programme Support Officer to lead the coordination of information for programmes and projects. You will liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders, providing key communication updates, this will include monitoring work and progress against plans and offer vital assistance to Programme and Project Managers.

Working alongside the wider team you'll prepare reports and supporting documentation as well as coordinating programme and project board meetings, ensuring information is up to date and accurate at all times.

About you

The successful candidate will have PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent, project management training and be able to demonstrate a track record of working in programme or project support.

You’ll have experience of successfully working on complex and diverse projects in large organisations in a project / programme support role. With excellent communication skills you'll have experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.

Working with teams that are split across many sites, you'll be happy to be part of a “virtual” team, able to keep in contact and up to date with key work and programmes.
