Our client is an organisation that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people. Their aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. They are currently going through a large period of growth and have a vacancy for a Support Worker. 

Position: Support Worker 
Location: The Grapevine Centre, Exeter 
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 18.75 hours per week 
Salary: £8,926.5 to £9,952.5 per year

About the role: 

Grapevine is primarily a young person, mother and baby supported housing unit, they work with their young people through structured support to develop independent living skills and encourage each individual to be the best they can be during their time at Grapevine. 

About you: 

You will be patient and understanding, caring and motivational; you will hold a caseload of clients and support their progress during their time at Grapevine. 

You will be diverse within your support, able to work independently as well as part of a team and be committed to giving each of their young people the best possible support service. 

You will be flexible in your approach understanding that you need to meet the needs of the individual and therefore whilst your hours will normally be between 9-5 there maybe times where you will be expected to work outside of this and also take part in an on call rota alongside other staff members. 

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.
