Records and Assesments Officer
Our client, the world's leading centre for the study of art history, conservation and curating, is looking to recruit a Records and Assessments Officer on a fixed term contract for six months.
This role is based in the Student and Academic Services department and is responsible for the co-ordination and administration of the records and assessment of all students registered at the Institute.Â There are two Records and Assessment Officers who work collaboratively with each other, line managed by the Head of Student and Academic Services to deliver a wide range of programme administration tasks, but primarily assessment and examinations processes.
Liaising with academic staff to co-ordinate the teaching timetable for the coming academic year (2018/19) using the CELCAT system, you will manage the annual updating and production of the Student, Staff, Personal Tutors and External Examiner handbooks and all course documentation. You will also maintain accurate course and student records on the student record system (SITS), ensuring that all courses for each academic year are set up on the database, and that all candidates to be assessed are allocated to the correct courses.
To be considered for this role, you will possess a good standard of education to degree level or equivalent and have previous work experience in a higher education examinations and assessment environment. Knowledge of CELCAT timetabling system and knowledge of the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle) is desirable but not essential. A high level of service and accuracy is required at all times.
