It is with great pleasure I bring to you this hugely exciting and unique opportunity to join Martin House as Director of Income Generation. Martin House is a very special organisation delivering a much-valued service to children and families of young people with life-limiting conditions across Yorkshire and Humberside. Purpose-built in a beautiful part of the country, the hospice is a place of refuge and comfort, and this unique opportunity to develop and implement an income generation strategy is one not to be missed.

As Director of Income Generation, you will have the opportunity take on the exciting challenge of developing the charity's future income strategy and helping them realise their ambitious strategic plans. Leading the highly successful fundraising and retail teams, you will be responsible for generating the income required to deliver the exceptional care that changes lives of children with life limiting conditions across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an established and talented fundraising team to deliver this invaluable income as well as identifying opportunities for growth and increase in return on investment.

As a member of the Strategic Management Team, you must possess exceptional leadership, strategic planning, management and interpersonal skills. To be considered for this unique opportunity you should have a strong track record in taking the lead on successful and significant income generation ideally within a not for profit environment although transferable experience may be considered. You must have proven commercial and business acumen and the ability to manage change. An inspirational communicator, you must have an unrivalled commitment to partnership and relationship building and a proven ability to influence others, innovate and manage change. The role requires excellent knowledge of income generation with the confidence to be innovative and entrepreneurial in your approach, in addition to high level leadership experience, ambition and determination.
