Development Events Officer
Prospectus is delighted to be working with a family of museums as they search for their new Development Events Officer, who will be central to the success of the fundraising team and will be personally involved in delivering an exciting calendar of new, engaging events for donors.
The Development Events Officer will primarily work with the Major Gifts Manager and the Head of Major Gifts in stewarding supporters across major donors, patrons, and some corporate partners. Crucially, the Development Events Officer will work directly with the Prospect Researcher to identify and develop an exciting pipeline of prospects, deciding where appropriate to organise prospect meetings and visits. The Development Events Officer will deliver a clear and engaging programme of communication to donors about upcoming events, and work with the wider museum team to ensure events run smoothly and to budget.
The selected candidate will be an enthusiastic and engaging arts fundraiser dedicated to superior donor care and committed to fundraising best practice. The Development Events Officer will work closely with other members of the Development team on a daily basis, so understanding the priorities of colleagues will be an indicator of success in this role. They will have worked in a fundraising environment before, and understand the motivations major donors have for giving and how to best connect their aspirations with the needs of the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most dynamic and fast-growing fundraising teams. If you are interested in pursuing this role, apply with a Word version of your CV in the first instance.
