We have been up and running for four years, and in that time we have established a reputation as one of the leading children's services providers in the country. We are one of the Department for Education's eight 'Partners in Practice', tasked with leading improvement across the sector.
About the Role
The Youth Resilience service is a specialist adolescent multi-agency service, offering specialist support for young people aged between 11-18 and their families to reduce the risk of family breakdown.
As a social worker within the Youth Resilience Service, you will work alongside substance misuse and youth offending specialists, as well as family therapists, to deliver creative interventions to meet the needs of adolescents on the edge of care.
To be Social Worker for, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points
- Knowledge of gathering evidence through the use of direct tools to help determine risk to children and inform assessments
- Ability to adapt how you work with young people in response to issues that may impact a child's development and the environments in which you are in contact with them
- Experience leading on and sharing information with partner agencies in aid of a child protection investigation.
