About this job
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in public relations and substantial experience contributing to successful high-profile integrated campaigns. They’ll be a strategic thinker and great line manager with lots of experience in dealing with reputation / crisis management. Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
This post reports to the Director of External Affairs and leads public relations and celebrity engagement work for the charity. The Head of PR is also a member of the External Affairs directorate management team.
The role has been a job share since being created; both partners share all projects and are across all areas of work, including joint management of the PR Manager and Celebrity and VIP Manager. Each person works three days a week and Wednesday is partly used as a handover day. This position is maternity cover. They’re open to considering people looking to make a step up from PR Manager level.
The centre has its own car park so it’s particularly good for anyone living in NW London or Hertfordshire who wants to commute by car.
