Toybox is looking for an experienced Director of Finance and Resources who will drive forward the organisation whilst ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance; delivering timely management accounts, monitoring all budgets and producing reforecasts as required. A good understanding of fundraising charities and their programmes will be an advantage; as is a solid grasp of the GDPR in the context of donor data and fundraising. You will also manage all activities relating to International Accounting, Company Secretary Duties, IT, Organisational Risk Management and limited management of central services.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, driven, passionate about changing the world for street children as well as professional, technically strong and used to working in a small team. You should have a can-do, roll-your-sleeves-up attitude. Experience of working within a similar sized charity will be an excellent advantage.
You need to be a qualified accountant with an outstanding track record of leading high performing finance functions. You will also need a strong appreciation of IT and Risk Management. You will need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to engage with Board members, auditors and a variety of other stakeholders.
