A charity are looking for a Project Officer to support the Project Manager in aspects of daily operations management and coordination and, assist in the development and delivery of work associated with a nationwide grant funded community programme.

Key Responsibilities:
-Support with the management of all day to day activities of the charity
-Identify risks and ensure risk mitigation measures are applied correctly
-Liaising with manufacturing partners and technical providers to ensure the effective management of technical systems, distribution and logistics
-Search, selection and outreach to participating communities and administering of the database.
-Project and event coordination
-Create and manage internal project plans with key milestones identified and associated with administering the grant.
-Manage dependencies between workstreams and suppliers
-Provide weekly status updates to the Project Manager and DoO including performance against plans, risks and issues and quarterly updates for the granting organisation.
-Grant performance management - manage and develop the administering of the grant and participation in the project, ensuring due diligence is carried out in good time.
-Identify potential outreach opportunities to maximise uptake of the grant.
-Carry out timely and accurate audits of the grant and all associated work.

Skills and Experience required:
-Extensive project administration experience
-Excellent IT skills
-Strong command of the English language and excellent written and editorial skills
-Experience of administering community orientated and/or grant funded projects highly desirable but not essential
-Ideally experience of grants administration
-Excellent planning, organizational skills and, attention to detail
-A proven ability to work unsupervised and operate with a degree of autonomy
-A proactive approach and a willingness to work outside the job specification when required
-Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders
-Excellent interpersonal skills
