We are pleased to be working with a national social welfare charity to find an Events and Corporate Fundraising Executive. Based in London, you will be an experienced fundraiser focusing on challenge and third party events, supporting participants and representing that charity.

Main duties:
-Project managing of challenge events from the annual portfolio.
-Project manage and deliver the charity's challenge events i.e. London Marathon, the 24 Peaks Team Challenge and RideLondon100 - and potentially one fundraising dinner each year.
-Management of event budgets, project plans and mailing lists, aiming to reach income targets for the events
-Work on the communication plan with event participants, to ensure supporters are appreciated, motivated and reaching fundraising targets. Retaining existing support and growing new support.
-Deal with events logistics and requirements e.g. risk assessment, insurance compliance.
-Working with the Corporate Fundraising Manager, to help secure corporate sponsorship for each event.
-To develop the existing events portfolio, helping to raise the charity's profile with supporters (particularly corporates) when possible.

Skills and experience needed:

-Experience of organising and delivering successful fundraising and challenge events
-Strong relationship building skills, with both excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to persuade
-Ability to manage a workload of multiple events and corporate relationships (for sponsorship)
-Excellent organisational skills and enthusiasm
-Ability to attend events in out of office hours sometimes over the weekend
-Experienced and confident with Word, Outlook, Excel and Raiser's Edge
