Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the change communications milestone and messaging plan
  • Create a change communications strategy that aligns to the strategy and addresses the key business / people needs of the function
  • Create and maintain a strong working relationship with the senior leaders
  • Advise on the leadership approach and prioritise communications resource and time around these as appropriate
  • Challenge 'output' mentality, ensuring measurement and effectiveness of communications are top of mind. Continually use employee insight and data to reinforce recommendations
  • Continually look to use data, insight and external best practice to evolve communication strategies and to bring new ideas into the team
  • Strong stakeholder engagement


  • A proven track record in leading on internal communications programmes
  • Ideally you would have worked within the financial or insurance industry within internal communications
  • Previously led on internal change programmes and employee engagement
  • You must be available at short notice as this is a 6-12 month contact
  • Ideally you would have worked as an interim or contractor previously and be able to drive change quickly
