Infrastructure Project Engineer
Since 1961, our research has transformed the way we prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease. And we've saved countless lives along the way. That's what keeps us going.
We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Engineer to deliver a range of business, infrastructure and security projects to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Working within the ITIL framework you will ensure all projects are correctly delivered into service, with appropriate and completed documentation, monitoring requirements, testing and an agreed and approved support model.
Providing world class project delivery to the BHF across business, security and infrastructure projects you will develop strong working relationships with key contacts across the organisation, including the Project Management team. You'll be responsible for providing regular feedback on assigned projects.
With ITIL knowledge and experience (formal certificates preferred) you will have strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Server and Active Directory, Virtualisation Technologies (notably VMWare), Networking Technologies (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and other key software.
You'll have experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory as well as implementation and administration. With proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects you'll liaise with contacts throughout the business and be able to explain technical information to non-technical users. A strong team player you'll have the ability to work calmly, be able to solve complex issues as they arise and ensure work is delivered on time.
