Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading international NGO that support children across the world and work to end children becoming institutionalised and separated from their families. Their work is continually expanding on a global scale and they secure funds from the UK, the EU, and the US. This organisation is currently searching for a Grants Officer to research and submit proposals to a wide variety of funding bodies.
The Grants Officer will primarily be responsible for researching a wide variety of potential funders across the world including the networks of the Trustees and developing persuasive and tailored proposals in order to secure funding to champion of the rights of children in some of the world's most impoverished nations. The Grants Officer will also take ownership of the fundraising reporting system to enable all fundraisers to access potential donors and to provide excellent reports for donor stewardship requirements.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience of writing funding applications and summarising complex funding requirements into succinct messages for specific audiences. You will have an excellent attention to detail and experience working within a fundraising database. More broadly, the Grants Officer will be responsible for identifying fundraising opportunities from all sources and collaborating with fundraising colleagues where appropriate.
