About the role:

Just how important are volunteers to the success of Alzheimer’s Society? Volunteers are vital. Alzheimer's Society was founded by volunteers, and their contribution continues to be absolutely essential to our ability to improve the lives of people living with dementia. What’s more, volunteers are involved in every aspect of our work, from fundraising and campaigning to delivering services and acting as Dementia Friends and Champions.

The number of people whose lives are affected by dementia grows daily and expectations are high. We need the skills, energy and commitment of all our people - volunteers and employees - to rise to the challenge. But we never take that support for granted.

To maintain and continue building our exceptional community of volunteers, we are now looking for an experienced and well-motivated person to join us. You will be responsible for recruiting, inducting, training and supporting our volunteers in Hampshire, The Isle of Wight and The Channel Islands. This will include matching the skills and availability of volunteers to the available roles.
