This is an exciting opportunity to help fight food poverty in the UK using your experience of working with donors who make five, six and seven figure gifts.
We are committed to making giving a rewarding experience for our donors and for other philanthropists with a desire to improve the lives of people in need of our help. Working as part of a growing Major Gifts team, you will be responsible for helping the charity achieve its objective of stopping UK hunger by enabling individuals who are capable of making transformative gifts to do so, thereby securing the income that the charity needs.
You will have significant experience of working with major donors in a fundraising charity and have a good working knowledge of the legal and ethical issues surrounding philanthropy.
You will be an effective communicator, be diplomatic, and have the interpersonal skills needed in the role. You will know how to develop an excellent understanding of donors’ wants, needs, charitable interests and objectives for their giving.
You will have a good working knowledge of at least one donor relationship management software system and be passionate about the work of the Trussell Trust and sympathetic to its values and ethos.
If you think you’re the person we’re looking for, we would love to hear from you.
