4 or 5 days a week (0.8 – 1.0 FTE negotiable)
£25,000 p.a. pro rata
Farringdon area, London – with some London and UK travel expected
They provide the quality assurance system for those working in science and they want all scientists to achieve the standard necessary for professional registration, because doing so will support them in maintaining standards of conduct and capability and in turn provide the public with the confidence that science is safe and well managed.
As their Registration Officer you will be responsible for supporting scientists to register through their application process and to help them demonstrate how they meet the standards required for registration.
You need to be comfortable operating a database or application system and identify improvements and opportunities to ensure an efficient, user-friendly experience. You will be responsible for monitoring that system, making sure applicant’s progress effectively and liaising with their System Analyst to ensure appropriate changes are made.
You will monitor applications against the required standards and regularly exercise your judgement to determine the most relevant action or support to provide.
You will need a keen eye for detail, the ability to deliver a great customer experience and be outcome driven.
