We are looking for an experienced Trust and Foundation Fundraiser to join our dedicated fundraising team at Thames Hospice as we enter an exciting period of growth. Our Capital Appeal is raising funds for a new state-of-the-art Hospice (still within the local area) and this role will play an integral part in reaching our ambitious target. You will also use your research and relationship building skills to secure funding from new trusts and foundations for ongoing revenue as well as manage an established portfolio of charitable trusts, foundations and corporate foundations.

You will need to be proactive in engaging and building relationships with key trust contacts, be able to identify new prospects and create dynamic bids in order to secure new support. You will also be confident in providing first-class stewardship which results in long-lasting relationships and sustained income growth for the Hospice.

Attention to detail, being organised and taking responsibility are all important, as is having a creative flair to adapt and tailor applications to a specific audience.

Alongside a supportive and friendly working environment, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes 27 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, childcare vouchers, Thames Hospice contributory pension scheme or NHS pension scheme (if eligible), employee assistance programme and employee discount scheme, to save money on high street and online retail brands.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Jane Symmons, Head of Major Gifts and Capital Appeal on 01753 848971.
