Salary: £20,160 - £25,566 (Pay point 24 to 36)

Our client support children, adults and families to deal with the impact of adoption and the difference it brings. They are a national charity and now one of the leading adoption agencies in England and Wales. Their core functions include:

  • Finding families for children in care when no one else can
  • Supporting adoptive families to thrive
  • Delivering award winning adoption support services such as their SafeBase parenting programme and TalkAdoption, Camps and Short Breaks for children and young adopted people
  • Supporting birth parents who have lost children to adoption
  • Helping people reunite with family separated by adoption

The Role

As Business Development Officer you will assist the Business Development Team in delivering the Charity’s Business Development strategy. You will work closely with management, finance and frontline delivery to ensure our client can demonstrate the difference they make.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Support of contract management
  • Support data collation and presentation
  • Support of Business Development activities and events
  • Co-ordination of promotional events

The experience and skills you will need to bring includes:

  • Experience in collating and analysing business/financial information
  • Able to create and coordinate marketing campaigns within an overall strategy
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills; including telephone skills
