About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to deliver the British Heart Foundation's (BHF) Retail marketing plans for its estate of over 175 Furniture and Electrical and Home and Fashion stores. You'll be responsible for managing multi-channel and in-store activity to drive engagement in our cause, footfall and sales. You'll ensure we place our customers at the heart of everything we do and ensure we work to drive awareness of the F&E proposition among core BHF audiences and new audiences.

The position is based in our Retail office in Claygate, Surrey but you will work closely with our Digital, Social and other Communication colleagues in our London head office as well as the Marketing & Business Development team in Claygate to deliver our retail marketing objectives.

About you

The successful applicant will have extensive and demonstrable commercial retail marketing experience. You'll have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to develop solid working relationships with customers, external suppliers and internal departments.

Strong organisational skills are essential and you'll have demonstrable experience of prioritising and working on multiple projects concurrently and the ability to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. You'll have experience of managing national marketing campaigns through multiple channels including digital and social channels and the ability to use, manipulate and analyse data.

Previous experience in a charity or high street retailer would be advantageous.
