Head of Fundraising
Prospectus is proud to be partnering with The Foyer Federation as they look to appoint their new Head of Fundraising on a maternity cover contract. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join an incredibly forward-thinking and exciting organisation.
Over the past 25 years, the Foyer Federation has been developing new ways of working with young people struggling to make the transition to adulthood, particularly those who cannot live at home.
The Foyer Federation develops transformational programmes and activities that help connect young people with the skills, opportunities and networks they need. Â Â We refuse to see young people as problems to be solved or victims in need of charity. Â We prefer to look at the young people through the lens of what we call 'Advantaged Thinking', as possibilities in need of investment. The Foyer Federation are building a movement of like-minded organisations and individuals who share a commitment to asset-based approaches that unlock young people's potential.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced fundraiser with a proven track record to join our senior management team on an initial one-year contract. You will be used to working autonomously and a strategic thinker with an excellent eye for detail. The majority of the Foyer Federation's income comes from membership fees, grants from trusts and foundations with a growing corporate portfolio.
The selected candidate will have experience in securing multi-year funding from the Big Lottery Fund and trusts and foundations. You will be working closely with the Chief Executive, Enterprise Manager and Director of Network to bring about significant investment for the charity at an exciting time. You will have an excellent understanding of the grant-making landscape in the UK and understand the need for bespoke approaches to different funding institutions.
If you are driven to make a difference with excellent fundraising expertise, please apply by sending your CV through to Ryan at Prospectus; further details will be provided to suitable candidates.
