Senior Donkey Welfare Advisor
There are an estimated 50 million donkeys and mules worldwide. Proven experience of leading investigations and the court process, you will gather, prepare and present objective evidence, verbally and in writing, in a professional and effective manner, representing The Donkey Sanctuary in court as required. You will also ensure our team is best placed to take appropriate action and preventative steps to prevent donkeys and mules suffering from cruelty, distress or poor treatment.
Liaising closely with the Head of Welfare, you will provide effective leadership to the Donkey Welfare Adviser team, ensuring that objectives for donkey welfare are efficiently and effectively achieved in support of the charity’s welfare strategy across the organisation. You will inspire and empower the team to consistently maintain the very highest standards at all times, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and appreciate their vital contribution to the charity’s strategic objectives.
