We are recruiting for an Operations Director to manage the day to day and operational functions within The Prince of Wales's Charitable Foundation (PWCF) and its commercial and charitable subsidiaries, including two social enterprises, two charitable subsidiaries and a leading sustainability programme.
The Operations Director will work with and oversee all PWCF programmes and business planning and act as the main point of contact for the Executive Director(s)/Chief Executives of the commercial and charitable subsidiaries.
Additionally, the successful candidate will chair the Small Grants Committee, and chair coordination and oversight meetings, as required, within the wider charitable group.
The Operations Director will have line management and development responsibility for a small central team (x 3), and additionally the Executive Directors of the two charitable subsidiaries.
To be successful, candidates will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with extensive relevant professional experience, ideally within the not for profit sector. Candidates must be able to show their ability to develop excellent working relationships at all levels, with proven aptitude to work with Corporate, NGO and Public-Sector leaders, at board level. Candidates will also need to be highly articulate in all aspects of their written and oral communication, ensuring discretion and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Experience and/or understanding of financial operations and knowledge of legal and finance regulation, together with the proven ability to manage complex projects is essential.
