Job Description

Invitation to become a voluntary Trustee of Hounds for Heroes.

Hounds for Heroes is a charity providing specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled UK Military and Emergency Services personnel.

We want to build a diverse and inclusive Board. The only requirements for applicants are enthusiasm and commitment to work with a team of others for the benefit of the Charity and its objectives. Knowledge of the Charity industry would be welcome but is not essential.

To help us develop a Board with diverse experiences and skill sets we would particularly welcome:

  • Fundraising expertise
  • Veterinary expertise
  • Medical expertise

As a member of our Board of Trustees you will be part of the strategic leadership of the Charity, helping us achieve our vision of providing specially trained assistance dogs to our injured and disabled UK Military and Emergency Services personnel, and ensuring that the Trust fulfils its charitable purpose, mission and values.
