Hospice UK is looking for an Events Executive to join their Events Team in the wider Income Generation Department.
Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice care, supporting over 200 hospices in the UK. We believe that everyone matters throughout their life right up until they die, and that no one should die in avoidable pain or suffering.
About the role:
The Events Executive will be responsible for managing several challenge events, including Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, third party challenge events and other miscellaneous events. This post holder will also support the wider Events team to deliver other key events in the events portfolio, which currently includes the Virgin Money London Marathon, a number of other third party events, bespoke corporate events and several special events.
The post-holder will be responsible for administrative tasks and will be expected to play a full and active role within the income generation department and across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing great customer service and have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You will be comfortable multi-tasking and prioritising your varied workload and have experience of working with a database. Ideally you will have relevant experience and/or knowledge events fundraising.
