This is an exciting and challenging post in Cathedral management. The main purpose of this role is to provide hands on financial and management accounting skills and expertise in a charitable organisation.
Reporting to the Director or Finance, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing a professional accounting and administrative support function covering the main activities of the Cathedral including the production of all financial management accounts.
The successful candidate will have strong management and technical financial accounting knowledge. You will require full membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians or equivalent and either qualified or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
Experience with using Microsoft applications to include Excel is essential as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a small finance team.
