About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Enterprise Architect to be the leader in setting the technology architectural direction and roadmap for the British Heart Foundation, which will assist technology based business improvements to allow us to channel more of our income into charitable objectives.
You'll be responsible for defining the Architectural framework and processes by working in collaboration with IT and our Digital and Customer Experience teams. As a member of the IT Leadership Team, you will be managing a team of Solutions Architects to provide architectural support that is needed for existing and future strategic business initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strategic approach to IT, with a deep understanding of the partnering role IT plays in a modern organisation and extensive experience of technology architecture. With excellent knowledge and experience in Networking and Security Technologies you will have previous senior experience within an IT team of 20+ as part of an organisation which turns over at least £130m.
With previous experience of a leadership role working on major change initiatives, you will have strong commercial awareness and the ability to take ownership and be able to use sound judgement to help to drive the business towards its goals.
You'll have excellent communication skills and be able to speak to all levels of the organisation and have a can do approach to our work. You'll be organised, able to meet key deadlines for work and ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date with progress.
