Impact Lead (Employability)
We are UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs. We want to see a world where people act to make it better. We reach out to find and support passionate, talented, resourceful people who are determined to tackle the key issues facing society. We call these people social entrepreneurs.
Impact Lead (Employability)
Salary: Band E (£37,555 - £42,383 + £3,285 London Weighting if applicable), plus pension
Full-time, Permanent, Immediate Start

We back over 700 social entrepreneurs every year to get started, and then grow their ventures, all of which are addressing major social challenges the UK faces. We provide the people we support with a blend of funding, advice, mentoring, training and connections. We support at least 20 each year to get to major scale, with more intensive incubation and brokering to raise capital. UnLtd is committed to building a fully accessible eco-system of support so that social entrepreneurs can find the right support to start up and thrive wherever they are.
We are becoming more ambitious and explicit about driving systemic change within our three impact areas, maximising the social impact of our work. As Impact Stream Lead for Access to Employment, you will be responsible for ensuring that UnLtd is able to deliver its ambitious strategy around systemic change in this area, supporting social entrepreneurs to create 3,000 jobs and training opportunities for people distant from the labour market and breaking down the barriers they face around routes to market, access to capital and being recognised and valued for the change they create.
Going forward, UnLtd is seeking to maximise its impact through three strategic priorities:
i. Building access to employment: supporting social entrepreneurs to create over 3,000 jobs and training opportunities for those distant from the labour market
ii. Solutions for an ageing society: working with social entrepreneurs to generate and diffuse innovative products and services which combat isolation, provide mental stimulation and foster physical wellbeing for older people
iii. Resilient communities: supporting social entrepreneurs in 20 UK communities to create economic and social value, while developing an ecosystem of support for them
We look forward to hearing from you if you have the talents, skills and interest in our work to fulfil this role.
