We have been growing at 30 percent annually the last five years supported by a strong fundraising culture across the organisation, an active Development Board and strong relationships with leading Trusts and Foundations. Our projected income this year is £9million, and our ambitious expansion and associated income generation plans will see ClientEarth continuing to expand internationally.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Global Director of Development will have a significant strategic role in driving our impact and growth, leading our ambitious income generation work across global programmes and other activities.

We are looking for candidates with a highly successful track record of income generation, with in-depth experience of European and international institutional fundraising, trusts and foundations or major donors. You will thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment, and can initiate, build and steward high level, multi-million donor relationships. A strategic operator, you are an accomplished and enabling leader who will get the most out of a talented and motivated team as well as senior leadership colleagues and trustees. You are not afraid of taking risks and have successfully worked in a global context and you share our passion for protecting the environment.
