Database Support Administrator – 12 month fixed term contract
Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for a Database Support Administrator to work in the Development team as part of the Global Fundraising team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the maintenance of the supporter database during the migration project from Progress to Blackbaud CRM (Customer relationship management). You will be required to carry out a range of data duties from direct debit processing, data imports, reconciliations and administer externally received data onto Sightsavers systems/database. This will require a great deal of integrity from the successful candidate whilst handling the data.
Ideally you will have a background in manipulating/cleaning large data sets and have a good understanding of relational databases. Experience of CRM and good knowledge of CRM best practices is important. The successful candidate will be organised and can demonstrate strong time and project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to tight varying deadlines.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key external suppliers along with a range internal teams. You will also be a strong communicator with effective negotiation skills.
