Salary C£60,000 pa plus SHPS DC pension scheme 
Permanent, 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Our client is a locally based housing association with over 3000 homes in and around Tower Hamlets for people in housing need.  They provide homes for social rent, shared ownership and leasehold accommodation, and they run their own in house repairs service.  They are also the largest provider of sheltered housing in the borough and own and manage two care homes for the elderly.

They are seeking an inspirational leader to drive forward service improvements and manage their front line housing teams.

Experienced in delivering services in a culturally diverse community you will strategically lead and manage delivery of a high performing, customer focused housing services to their customers to set standards. You will strive to motivate and inspire teams to deliver outstanding performance, high customer satisfaction and value for money services.  

As Head of Housing you will undertake regular and systematic performance monitoring to address issues, drive improvements and raise customer satisfaction levels. Developing and ensuring effective partnerships between the local authorities, local communities and stakeholders you will also provide appropriate operational support, in order to achieve shared outcomes that contribute to delivery objectives.

To be successful in this role you must have or working towards a recognised housing or management qualification.  Experience in management of social housing in an urban environment and housing management project management are essential. Strong knowledge of housing law and legislation are also needed.

In addition to this excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results are required.

Due to the nature of the role some evening or weekend work will be required.
