As Policy and Regulation Officer, you’ll play a key role in our Technology and Information Services team, ensuring that policies and processes work well and ‘fit’ together in a way that makes sense for staff and customers alike under a clear and consistent service offer. You’ll work with service owners to ensure they comply with changing legislative and regulatory requirements, that they are adopted effectively and they enable all parts of the community to access their services.

This role will be demanding but it will provide an excellent platform to showcase your abilities as you work across teams at all levels, including advising our most senior managers on changing regulation and working with them to identify solutions.  You will be part of a talented and supportive team tasked with delivering tangible benefits to customers.

The salary for the role is up to £34,000, and it is offered on a full-time (37hrs per week) and permanent basis.  The job also comes with a great range of benefits, including 28 days’ annual leave (with the ability to buy more), 2 days’ volunteering leave, great commercial and lifestyle offers and discounts, a class-leading pension scheme and the opportunity to earn an additional performance bonus.


Our client is looking for a creative yet organised professional seeking a real opportunity to help shape the services they provide.  You’ll be pragmatic and tactical with a keen eye for detail, someone who can identify the need to do things differently and spot positive opportunities to improve the way these services are provided. 

You'll have some experience in a customer-focussed, service-based organisation, and will bring with you the ability to analyse risk and service data, and communicate clearly how changes to legislation and regulation may impact our services.
