Night Support Drug and Alcohol Practitioner

Our client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Substance Misuse Professional to join their residential rehabilitation team in Hull - The Bridges.

Role

Working within The Bridges, a residential rehab for those leaving prison or serving community orders, you will be responsible for delivering counselling and group work services to the clients within the unit as part of a community Substance Abuse Treatment Programme.

To take up this excellent opportunity you will have previous experience of providing a counselling service to this client group, or similar. You will be in possession of a recognised counselling qualification (or the commitment to gain one) and have a thorough knowledge of, and commitment to the 12-step process of recovery.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to set and stick to professional boundaries.

Detailed knowledge of HIV and Hepatitis infection is desirable, but not essential, as the facilitation of therapeutic groups.
