An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grants Administrator at a leading benevolent organisation. The charity manages an advice, guidance, signposting and grant giving service for people encountering a wide range of concerns including financial, relationship and health related issues.

This role will provide key administrative support to a new programme of grants including Winter Fuel support and Christmas grants for vulnerable elderly people. This varied role involves a wide range of administrative and office support activities as well as ensuring grant applications are dealt with professionally and efficiently. Key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for grant applications, conducting assessments, answering queries and reporting in addition to maintaining accurate data through the CRM database. Working closely with an account manager, this person will communicate proactivity to a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

With demonstrable grants experience in an administrative capacity, the ideal candidate will be have an excellent telephone manner and an empathetic and compassionate approach. This person will also be highly organised, professional and fair minded with a foundation of broad office based administration experience. With the ability to work collaboratively and under their own initiative, this person will be able to see the big picture and understand the important support this charity provides to vulnerable, mostly elderly people.
