Executive Assistant Fundraising, Marketing and Public Affai
Eden brown are working with a well know health charity based in Vauxhall London, they are looking for a experienced Executive Assistant to work with the divisional director of Fundraising, Marketing and Public Affairs.
The role is 3 months temporary but for the right person there is the option of permanent. My client is looking to offer a hourly rate of £16.78 per hour.
As a direct report to the Divisional Director, you will be the main contact between this role and the rest of the organisation. Within this post you will be efficient at managing projects, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
This vital post will provide the Divisional Director with support in all aspects of her work. In this highly pressurised environment, excellent judgement, discretion and interpersonal skills in handling internal and external contacts are essential.
You will lead by example and provide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational and logistical service to the Divisional Director, helping her to manage and prioritise her time.
1.To personally manage the Divisional Director's diary, including a busy schedule of internal meetings, visits and public engagements which will require negotiation with a variety of agencies including internal departments, agencies, regional staff, senior volunteers.
2.To prepare and brief the Divisional Director for external and internal meetings and other engagements
3.To coordinate the Division's communications programme, including drafting and disseminating regular team updates and maintaining team calendars.
4.To follow up any agreed actions on behalf of the Divisional Director and ensure they are carried out on a timely basis.
5.To maintain a watching brief across all areas of the Directorate and provide the Divisional Director with regular de-briefings by acting as a filter for information.
6.To attend, as required, both internal and external meetings with the Divisional Director and to assist in any follow up activities which may result from them.
7.To work with the Divisional Director to support her in her role as a member of various external groups, ensuring she is fully briefed in preparation for meetings.
8.To provide support to the Divisional Director for all meetings of the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees
9.To tabulate and retrieve Divisional Director's official expenditures and claims
10.To be available for all meetings in the event minute taking is required.
11.To assist the Divisional Director with her correspondence, including research, drafting and typing when required; accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
12.To assist with events, lunches and seminars either for or on behalf of the Divisional Director
