This is a very unique chance to work at the interface between government and the not-for -profit sector. You will be taking a lead on the Charity Next Programme and enjoy real freedom in the role.

Key Responsibilities:
-Maintaining and building on relationships with stakeholders within Civil Service and Not-For-Profit sector.
-Working with the board to develop and implement future strategy of the programme along with project managing the delivery of Charity Next Programme to the not-for-profit sector.
-Building strong relationships with members across the organisation by learning about them and their needs - This involved specific relationship management to ensure members gain full value of membership.
-Business development for both the Charity Next Programme and Talent offering more broadly

Personal Specification:
-Strong project management skills; providing advice on the management of projects, representing the client's or organisation's interests, making sure the quality standards are met, making sure that all the aims of the project are met.
-Proven experience of running projects simultaneously that is to tight deadlines whilst under pressure.
-Strong experience of developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. Being comfortable as a main point of contact. This comes from being a subject matter expert in your field.
-Proven ability of successfully marketing opportunities through a thorough understanding of what they do as an organisation (in this case WIG) - again this is as a result of being a subject matter expert around them and their members.
-Strong interest in business and charities, the communication they have and the benefits of cross sector learning.
