Our client is a small, friendly and supportive charity who help to support children and their families in the London Borough of Enfield and its surrounding areas. They are now recruiting for an experienced and dedicated 'Education Support Service Manager' to oversee a team of caseworkers and volunteers in ensuring that their education support provision is delivered to the highest standard.

The Education Support Service comprises of the following two provisions; the Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS), and the Independent Support team who provide independent, confidential advice surrounding SEND issues relating to educational provision and rights. As Service Manager your role will entail leading a loyal team in the overall delivery of the service, ensuring that set-standards are met, caseloads are monitored, and that team targets are adhered to. The Service Manager will be responsible for evaluating the quality and impact of the service and will implement and oversee any change management that arises from this. Overall, the Service Manager will publicise, represent and advocate for the service, both in person, in writing and online.

You will have demonstrable knowledge of the UK school system, and a current working knowledge of relevant, up to date SEN legislation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and will use these skills to develop and construct service and project plans. Overall, you will be empathetic and approachable and will have an enthusiastic and inclusive leadership style.
