As a Social Worker in the SPA, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and a strong track record of working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will be skilled at building strong relationships with children and their families, professionals and partner agencies. You will not hold cases, but instead will focus on gathering high quality information, and making recommendations on referrals.

What we're looking for
To be a Social Worker for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points

  • To manage a varied and complex contact load of children that require ongoing work within the SPA in order to determine threshold and provide timely support to children and families.
  • To communicate clearly with colleagues and customers, ensuring that internal and external customers are able to participate in consultation and two-way communications that are timely and appropriate.
