Thrive is a national charity specialising in horticultural therapy, using gardening to change lives. We have bases in Reading, London, and Birmingham. An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Garden in Battersea Park, London.
Job title: Regional Centre Co-ordinator
Temporary to cover maternity leave
Salary from £22,000.00
Full time, 35 hours per week
Reporting to the Regional Centre Manager this post is part of the local management team with specific responsibility for the smooth operation and administration of the regional centre. Leading the office and volunteer team to facilitate the delivery of Thrive programmes and meeting the needs of clients and funders. Working to achieve Thrive’s aims and objectives, to maximise the scope and breadth of services to improve lives. Pro-actively approaching revenue raising through social enterprise and corporate involvement.
You will be experienced in both project and line management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly competent IT skills and the ability to work on your own initiative whilst managing competing priorities are pre-requisite skills for this role. Experience in working with people living with disability or vulnerability will be an advantage.
Appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check, proof of right to work in the UK and provision of 2 acceptable references.
