This is a newly created role, which will be both strategic and hands-on, helping them to achieve their mission of good homes and better lives for thousands of people in London.

About the role:
As Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective Facilities management service; managing facilities, developing best practice and ensuring service provision. Helping to improve the performance of organisation and effectively manage the facilities team. Further to this you will lead the procurement process, set annual budgets and monitor spend. You will develop, implement and monitor Facilities policies and procedures, as well as providing key information, KPI’s and other statistics for reports and to provide your recommendations.

About you:
You will have significant experience in Facilities Management, with knowledge of facilities services, bulk procurement method and ideally be a member of the Facilities Management Institute. We’d like you to have substantial management experience, with staff and contractors; review of supplier / service contracts and have knowledge of supplier reviews, including Security, Maintenance and Equipment.

To be successful the candidate will be educated to graduate level and possess good IT skills, including Word and Excel. With your excellent customer service, communication and time management skills you will be a good negotiator and be effective working in a small team environment.

Due to the nature of the role it is desirable that you hold a full driving licence and are available for occasional out of office hours work. Having the ability to undertake manual handling activities when required is also essential.
