This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and vibrant charity that works to support and enable adults with learning disabilities in Epsom and the surrounding area. We are looking for an Advocacy Manager to lead and manage the growth and development of advocacy provision.
Reporting to the CEO, the Advocacy Manager will be responsible for the development, operation and management of the Sunnybank Advocacy service including managing and supervising our team of volunteer citizen advocates and further developing other forms of advocacy appropriate to the people we support.
Other responsibilities include;
· Identify and develop opportunities for both long term and issue based advocacy.
· Oversee good practice and accurate case recording.
· Keep up to date with legislation and best practice.
Experience of working with volunteers and people with learning disabilities would be an advantage.
