Our client is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic communications trainee to help them to achieve their mission for good homes, better lives.
This is a newly created role, which will support their small and busy Communications team to deliver a wide variety of marketing, PR and communications activities across the Group.
You will be a proactive and bright individual with a real passion for creative and effective communications. You will have excellent organisation and planning skills as you will be central to the success of the team, ensuring that their files, artwork, communications materials and stock are all managed and administered seamlessly.
You will be responsible for evolving their monitoring and evaluation tools and methods, and for creating reports that help the communications team to drive better performance. They are seeking an individual who is proactive and driven to put forward well considered ideas about how team can create efficiencies and deliver continuous improvement.
You will have first-rate writing skills and a careful eye for clear and compelling copy, appreciating the importance of achieving the right tone and language for a variety of different channels.
You will help to ensure that content across all the channels is kept up to date, engaging, and aligned to their brand and style guidelines including social media, their websites and intranet.
You will be expected to provide ideas, and will be encouraged to contribute to all areas of marketing and communications activity cross the Group including involvement with PR and media work, support at events and composing publications or promotional activity and materials.
They are looking for a competent and energetic individual with an appetite to learn and grow in a communications career. They are also offering time and funding to complete a further marketing or communications qualification form the Chartered Institute of Marketing as part of this position.
