Information, Advice and Guidance Manager
The Information, Advice and Guidance Manager is responsible for the smooth, effective running of all information, advice and guidance activity across both Healthwatch Bolton and Healthwatch Wigan and Leigh offices and for developing the service to reach its full potential.
This is a new role, the IAG manager will be a member of the management team and it is expected that the post holder will take the lead on identifying and developing new opportunities and implementing new initiatives for the information advice and guidance service.
The post-holder will be responsible for fulfilling and developing the reporting requirements of the programme, for ensuring the programme maintains high standards of advice and guidance and for ensuring the safe and effective management and storage of client data.
The post holder will provide line management and professional supervision to our Senior IAG officers (one based in each office) who handle the day to day client contact and casework.
The post-holder will be required to keep up to date with changes in the health and social care environment and will be responsible for developing guidance notes and briefings for internal and external audiences.
