Prospectus is partnering exclusively with the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity in search of a new Community Fundraising & Events Officer based at Harefield Hospital.

Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity supports these two world-class centres in their fight against heart and lung disease. The hospitals treat new-borns with heart problems, toddlers affected by asthma, teenagers living with cystic fibrosis and adults needing transplants, to name only a few. These life-threatening conditions could affect any of us.
You will be part of a small team, playing an important role in raising money for vital equipment, research and amenities that fall outside the scope of NHS funding. Your role will involve volunteer management, events coordination, donor support and database management. Although you will be expected to have some experience in the charity sector, preferably in fundraising, there will be comprehensive training provided.


The successful candidate will be proactive, dynamic and will have excellent interpersonal skills. As the primary point of contact for donors and fundraisers visiting the Harefield Hospital, you will be someone who can relate effectively and appropriately with a variety of different people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some fundraising experiencing who is looking to develop their skills within the sector with an incredible charity. You must be local to Harefield, or be able to drive, as the location is not easily accessible by public transport.
