About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead a range of high quality and innovative holiday and short break services which enable disabled children, young people and adults to enjoy new experiences and explore new places away from home.
As the Operations Manager, you will ensure the effective delivery and development of programmes including our flagship national holidays scheme, as well as regional short breaks activities and events. You’ll work together with the skills, abilities and aspirations of children, young people and adults, and a nationwide team of volunteers and staff to co-create exciting, fun-filled activities throughout the year, and across England and Wales.
Through your substantial experience in working with disabled children, young people or adults, you will be passionate about ensuring your person centred values are at the heart of what you do, setting and achieving high standards for your team, volunteers and sessional staff.
You will have an eye for detail, a talent for planning and organisation, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on a large scale.
You’ll thrive in a role which requires a balance of responsive and strategic planning, confident and dynamic operational management, and ample opportunity to be actively involved in the day to day delivery of events, breaks and holidays.
