Business and Finance Manager

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a professional with experience in financial and business management to join a progressive and dedicated charity that provides many young people with both the skills and support required to access and succeed in their future employment.
Succeeding within the leadership team this person will contribute to the strategic direction of the charity and will be responsible for heading up of all senior finance functions including the management and preparation of accounts and monitoring of the budget and expenditure. The business support elements of the role include ensuring robust and effective systems and processes are in place such as the development of HR policies and procedures whilst also liaising with external contractors. This role has one direct report supporting both administration and finance.
The ideal candidate will have operated in a similar, multi-facilitated role or will bring a sound knowledge of financial management with highly effective administrative and organisational skills. Demonstrable experience of financial management and a background in providing oversight to an organisation's support functions is essential. We are looking for motivated and proactive professionals who are looking for an all-round encompassing role.
