Digital Supporter Delivery Officer

Working with an established children's charity, we are looking for a digital enthusiast, who will lead on email marketing for the supporter delivery team. You will be managing everything from the insight to the planning, creative development, data, production, results and analysis.

This is a pivotal role for the team. You'll have tons of initiative and passion and your attention to detail will ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule and to a high standard. Digital Fundraising is a growing area in the sector and this role provides the opportunity to be part of this.

This team is responsible for large-scale communications to a range of supporters. As the whole directorate starts implementing a new plan, the team will focus on the engagement of supporters with, not just fundraising, but also volunteering and campaigning.

Key responsibilities:

-Work as part of the Supporter Delivery Team to ensure a consistent approach to delivering impact and income
-Work with members of the Supporter Delivery and Digital teams to plan & deliver agreed digital activity
-Participate in the development and execution of online user journeys Use regular testing to improve all campaign metrics
-Work closely with the Digital team to schedule, plan and deliver email, web and mobile/SMS campaigns including audience selection, planning, testing, creative and dispatch
-Use Google Analytics to deep dive in to website usage and interaction with social channels from all team appeals and activity, making appropriate recommendations
-Create content for online channels including web, email, social media and SMS
Develop online data capture strategies
-Provide regular reports on digital campaigns and other activity, suggesting recommendations for future work based on these findings

Person specification:

-Experience of delivering digital income generation communications in a business or charity
-Extensive experience in using email & SMS broadcast systems, including creating content for a variety of audiences.
-Engaging Networks experience is particularly desirable
-Practical knowledge of current digital marketing techniques such as email, SMS, remarketing, mobile donations, paid search, display, social media
-Experience of developing engaging user content across multiple formats quickly
