We are looking for someone who has previous experience in providing strong leadership and expertise in the Service Management fields. You will ideally have strong experience managing and continuously improving process workflows across IT.

Key Responsibilities:
-In this role you will be heavily involved with the management and oversight of IT Service Management processes primarily focussing on; Problem Management, Incident Management, Request Management and Continual Service Improvement.
-You will be the main point of contact for Service Desk in case of incidents / major incidents and therefore be responsible for restoring and stabilising service as quickly as possible in the event of a major incident.
-Responsible for managing the activities of root cause analysis and problem resolution in order to minimise the adverse impact of Problems on the Business.
-Seeking ways to improve and communicating this to senior management and following this up to ensure continual improvement of supported systems.
-Communicating with the project teams allowing for services coming up to BAU have fulfilled all acceptance.
-Taking a lead and managing situations of crisis for supported applications working with IT teams, this could involve complex technical hardware or software problems.

Personal Specification:
-Strong ability of presenting complex issues in a more clear way through various means including; diagrams, presentations and documentation.
-Service Transition expertise - able to assist on the transition from development through to application support.
-Strong experience working in an ITIL support environment and experience of managing ITIL process implementation.
-Hands on ServiceNow experience and a ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate (evidence of practical application)
-Extensive knowledge and experience of managing major incidents
-Have previous hand-on experience in IT operations role.
