Events Marketing Manager - FTC
Our client is a leading children's charity based in Horsham. They have been saving and changing children's lives through medical research since 1952.
Reporting into the Head of Events, the Events Marketing Manager will support the events marketing team to deliver marketing activities to support their calendar of challenge events across the year.
You will need to lead the development and delivery of comprehensive and coordinated marketing and promotional plans for the events fundraising programme, particularly for digital and social media channels, to achieve income, recruitment and retention kpis with regular analysis and review.
You will also be responsible for achieving annual fund raising income and kpis within agreed cost for allocated events delivering all elements of the events cycle. As part of the events fundraising team you will also need to support the delivery of excellent customer care for events participants and identification and cultivation of prospects who may deliver further support for the charity.
This is a key marketing role within the team and you will also be responsible for liaising with the communications team, and the creative team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced marketing manager with previous events marketing experience ideally within the not for profit sector.
You will need to have excellent creative, verbal and written communication skills. Be an ambitious self-starter who thrives under pressure; able to demonstrate a flexible and responsive approach to managing a demanding workload.
This is a busy team with lots of events that will require some potential assistance in running.
£30,000 - £35,000 with benefits
This role is a 9-12 month FTC starting in October
